Take off your cool

Just about in time for the fourth movie to come out I am finally caught up on the Harry Potter movies. Until recently I never watched the movies, and I had only read the first part of the original book. I'm not sure why I never got on board with the crew from Hogwarts before. I just never really got into the books so the movies didn't really grab my attention, at least by the previews.

The first two movies both got my attention once I took the time to watch them, and I thought they were entertaining. The third movie was where everything turned a corner for me though as far as the story and the filmmaking. I thought that the third was by far the strongest of the three movies. The biggest change to me is that it seemed like there was a lot more emotion from the characters in the third movie. I thought it was funny to see the change from "nice" Harry Potter to the rebellious teenage Harry who kicks around furniture and threatens people in the third movie. Overall, I've definitely been sucked into the series now so I'll be looking forward to seeing the fourth movie.
